Tonight's post is brought to you via my I phone. Last we finally got rain. Massive storm while we hosted 16 for dinner. We lost power. We are now at 24hours in hot and very humid Houston and no power. Centerpoint energy says it could be a day, two days, a week - they don't know. Luckily our neighbors have asked us to stay with them as they have power. Only 9 homes onour grid are out

We have not seen one Centerpoint truck alllll day.

While thankful for nice neighbors, I must say I am pissed that a thunderstorm can create this type of total failure in the 4th largest city in America.
